I'm not entirely sure how I've made it this long, but I'll be turning 26 next week.  Weird. Time flies, and sometimes I forget how old I really am. It's not a bad thing, but it is certainly disconcerting.

When growing up I had always thought I'd have been married by now, and be busting my ass in the video-game development fields. I'm not disappointed that I'm not, but it is kind of funny how things you imagine as to where you will be, can turn out so wildly different in reality.

I've got to say I'm happy with my life, for the most part. I'm lucky, truly lucky. I could be one of those poor, miserable bastards, but I've got a good life, with good people in it - and I am grateful.


Now...about that cake...
